By moving services off dedicated appliances into Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) running as software on the centralized platform, vCPE is a reliable, flexible and low cost network services platform.

NETELASTIC vCPE SOLUTION
netElastic’s vCPE architecture is unique in its ability to move the customer branch LAN border to the carrier POP or CORD-enable CO where virtualized services can run on a cloud-scale NFVi platform. This approach eliminates the need for expensive servers at each customer site which is particularly important for smaller branch locations and multi-site end-customers.

netElastic’s vCPE supports multiple services including vFirewall, SD-WAN, vSBC, VPN, and others along with all of the connectivity and routing options carriers require. netElastic’s solution leverages our data-plane optimizations delivering near line rate performance up to 40Gbps per node. By moving services off dedicated appliances into Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) running as software on the centralized platform, vCPE is a reliable and flexible solution that dramatically changes the economics and agility for carriers.

OPEN NFV ARCHITECTURE
Based on the ETSI NFV framework, netElastic’s vCPE solution features a network architecture that moves all virtualized CPE functions to the carrier’s network edge, data center, or cloud, leaving only a small, inexpensive physical device at the customer premise. This approach greatly simplifies the physical, functional, and deployment requirements for the network interface devices at the customer site, allowing for easy and faster deployment.
