Chairman of the Board
Mark Pugerude is Chairman of the Board at netElastic and Chief Revenue Officer at InfoVista. Mark has nearly 30 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Corporate Development, and Corporate Finance.
Before his current roles, Mark completed a successful private equity raise of $200 million at iconectiv, where he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development during the past year.
Mark previously served as President of Global Sales for GENBAND, where he helped GENBAND achieve market dominance and extraordinary revenue growth in the communications software marketplace. Prior to his promotion to head Global Sales, Mark held the position of Chief Strategy Officer and EVP of Corporate Development.
Prior to joining GENBAND, Mark served as Chief Marketing Officer at NextPoint Networks, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Product Development and Business Development at Broadwing Communications, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for PingTone Communications, and Managing Sales Director for Nokia Networks.
Jason Lu has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience building successful technology companies.
Before netElastic, Jason founded and built many innovative software companies, including CertusNet, RioRey, NetImmune, and AlphaSight. Currently he is the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of CertusNet, a world-leading provider of information platforms and application solutions for enterprise, carrier, and government agencies.
Jason previously held positions as CEO, CTO, senior network engineer, and principal system engineer with many well-known technology companies, including Hughes Network Systems. Jason is known for being an energetic technology expert and an innovative creator of successful products.
Jason has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Peking University. Jason also has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
Dr. Weixiao Liu
Dr. Weixiao Liu is CEO of netElastic Systems. Weixiao brings more than 20 years of experience leading and managing organizations in the development of enterprise and carrier-grade software solutions.
Prior to joining netElastic, Weixiao was Director of Engineering at iDirect, where he was responsible for all software development and innovation that helped iDirect triple revenue to over $300 million. Prior to iDirect, Weixiao worked as a Senior Engineer at Thomson Silicon Components, leading their global research efforts.
Weixiao received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master’s degree in Physics from Miami University.
Kim Larsen is an attorney, business executive, and angel investor based in Washington, D.C.
Kim was President, Corporate Strategy/M&A, and General Counsel at Broadwing Communications, where he was instrumental in turning Broadwing profitable and negotiated the sale of the Company to Level 3 for $1.6 billion.
Prior to Broadwing, Kim was General Counsel and Head of Corporate Development at Corvis Corporation, an optical long-haul telecoms equipment manufacturer. Kim led the company’s IPO for over $1.3 billion, which was the most successful venture-backed IPO to date with a peak value in excess of $40 billion. Kim also co-founded Ciena Corporation and was an initial stockholder, director and general counsel.
Kim received his undergraduate degree from BYU in Economics and Political Science, and his law degree from Columbia Law School.
Rick E. Dansey
Senior Vice President, TeraThink
Rick E. Dansey is Senior Vice President at TeraThink Corporation, where he brings 28 years of leadership and business growth success.
Most recently, Rick ran the Federal-Civilian agency Enterprise IT portfolio for AECOM, a $19B Fortune 200 firm. In this role he managed Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and cloud solution offerings for the federal government.
Previously, Rick was an Executive Vice President at CACI International. This organization was critical to CACI’s growth strategy with $630 million in annual revenue and 3,500 employees. He also played a key role in multiple CACI acquisitions.
He earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy. He also has a Masters in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University.
